About The Position

Avenue Z, a leading media and technology company, is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Public Relations Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of communications strategies, media outreach, reporting, and engagement initiatives for a diverse portfolio of clients across industries, including technology, corporate, and consumer sectors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of public relations experience, preferably in an agency or media and technology setting.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and client-facing materials.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with clients and media contacts.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with public relations tools, platforms, and measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day public relations programs for multiple clients, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and seamless implementation.
  • Support the execution of campaigns across traditional, digital, and social platforms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, bloggers, and influencers to secure coverage and amplify client narratives.
  • Track media coverage, identify opportunities, and prepare detailed reports for clients.
  • Monitor industry trends and client mentions to inform and optimize outreach efforts.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread pitches, press releases, contributed articles, and other client-facing materials.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop tailored strategies that address client challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on media trends and client objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Participate actively in client and internal meetings, providing thoughtful input and taking detailed recaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities, staying updated on industry best practices.
