About The Position

Make a real impact in your community. Join Tri-County’s SPC Regional Prevention Coalition and help prevent substance use, promote mental health, and lead opioid overdose prevention efforts across five municipalities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field ie. psychology, sociology, public health
  • Experience with community outreach, public health, prevention, or coalition work
  • Strong public speaking, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (graphic design and web tools a plus)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (event materials)

Responsibilities

  • Lead opioid overdose prevention outreach to businesses and colleges
  • Deliver engaging presentations to college students and community partners
  • Build and strengthen community partnerships
  • Coordinate events, trainings, and other relevant activities
  • Create program materials, track deliverables, and complete program reports
  • Support broader prevention initiatives across the department
