Public Health Education Supervisor FT
About The Position
The Public Health Education Supervisor, under general direction, leads the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health education and outreach initiatives for the Public Health Department. This position directs development of public health community educational programs and material. The Public Health Education Supervisor also supervises marketing and public communication efforts and serves as liaison to schools, media outlets, local organizations, community groups and various audiences to promote the department's health initiatives. The Public Health Education Supervisor establishes and maintains contact with referral resources, social agencies and the general public to coordinate and identify the needs of the community for public health educational programs. This employee performs other work related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with an area of specialization or concentration in Public Health, Health Education, Health Administration, or Business Administration
- Have a minimum of three (3) years' work experience in supervisor roles
- Have a minimum of three (3) years' work experience in managing State and/or Federal Grant Programs.
- Have a valid driver's license.
