About The Position

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Cleans and sanitizes the public bathrooms including sinks, toilet and floors. Moves furniture, hangs drapes, and rolls carpets. Sweeps, vacuums, scrubs, waxes, and polishes public area floors. Vacuums rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies in the public areas and offices. Dusts furniture, wash walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebaskets Replenishes bathroom amenities within public bathrooms. Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required. Fills out maintenance requests for any item(s) that need repair. Performs other duties as required QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required Six months experience in the hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required Must be 18 years of age Must possess a valid driver license Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Certifications: Knowledge of occupational hazards and applicable safety practices. Ability to communicate, read, and writes clearly in basic English. Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds and with co-workers at all levels. Ability to safely use cleaning products and safely operate cleaning equipment. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instruction. Ability to learn the methods of cleaning and caring for buildings and equipment. Ability to work with timeliness and thoroughness. Ability to demonstrate excellence in everything, and continually seek improvement in results. Skill in the use of cleaning tools, chemicals, cleaners, and disinfectants. Physical Demands: Required to stand for extended periods Use hands to handle or feel Reach with hands and arms Need’s to be able to hear and talk Required to walk Required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Must be able to lift and move 30 pounds Work Environment: Inside or outside work Evening and weekend work Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
Six months experience in the hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required
Must be 18 years of age
