JOB SUMMARY To clean and maintain all public areas (i.e. hotel lobby, restrooms) in impeccable conditions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS This description is a summary of primary responsibilities and qualifications. The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week. Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, offices, and other work areas. Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops, and powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaner and shampoo machines. Dust furniture and equipment. Polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings. Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Wash windows, door panels, and sills. Empty and clean wastebaskets and ashtrays. Transport garbage and waste to disposal area. Replenish common area bathroom supplies.
