You will help verify badges and credentials, log guests and deliveries, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents while providing top-tier customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out site-specific access control procedures at an automotive location, including verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing visitors and deliveries.
Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby points by screening vehicles and pedestrians, maintaining logs, and monitoring alarms, cameras, and access control systems for security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and assisting with emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues to report.
Complete detailed reports of daily activity, access events, and incidents, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
