About The Position

Responsible for facility rental and program setups and breakdown, ensuring seamless execution daily. Diligently maintains and enhances sanitation and maintenance schedule. Assist with maintaining a current cleaning supply inventory, collaboratively working with division managers to anticipate supply needs ensuring timely orders, thereby preventing any disruptions due to the depletion of essential items. Proficiently executes diverse cleaning functions including by not limited to, restrooms, mopping, sweeping, kitchen sanitation and trash disposal. Completes and maintains safety certifications and trainings, such as CPR/AED certification, OSHA training and other trainings as directed by the Recreation Division Manager, Department Head or HR. Responsible for keeping outside grounds and parking lots free of liter.

Requirements

General knowledge of OSHA safety standards and health department standards
Basic tool and cleaning supply knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to multitask and work with limited supervision
Capacity to work autonomously and a demonstrated aptitude for following directions
Must be physically able to perform active and strenuous work activity both inside and outside which will involve heavy lifting and various weather conditions
Ability to read and understand chemical/cleaning application instructions
High school diploma or GED required
Must be able to drive and hold a valid driver's license that must remain valid as condition of continued employment
Must successfully pass a background and driver's license check, and a physical exam including drug screen prior to employment
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification or must obtain within 6 months
