Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse school.
Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted license(s) to practice nursing pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are provided;
Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are provided;
Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe dangerous drugs and controlled substances;
Ability to possess and maintain adequate/required Professional Liability Insurance policy;
Comply with prescription drug monitoring program regulations, including, but not limited to registration and use;
Possess and maintain all accreditations, certifications, and credentials necessary and appropriate to enable nurse practitioner to perform, and Company to bill for, the Services;
Remain a Medicare and Medicaid Provider in the State where healthcare services are provided;
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as thorough knowledge about the various medical processes and procedures;
Ability to function well independently, as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team, ability to work productively and effectively.
Licensed to practice in Colorado or eligible for state licensure
DEA license
Graduation from an accredited educational program for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and successful completion of certification
All certifications and licenses required must be kept current as a condition of continued employment
Demonstrates positive behavior, attitude, and commitment as documented by supervising physician, patient satisfaction surveys, and feedback from other personnel
Demonstrates positive teamwork, cooperative efforts, prompt and attentive service to patients and colleagues
Maintains patient confidentiality

Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, manage and treat patients
Write prescriptions and provide patient education on: prescriptions, ketamine/spravato, TMS, and psychotherapy
Coordinate treatment among other medical specialists and therapists
Communicate with patients, physicians, and other members of the care team
Participate in continuing education for continuing certification processes for licensure requirements
Performs counseling within the scope of clinical practice
Obtaining and maintaining prescriptive authority per Colorado State Board Medical Examiner regulations
Establishes systematic follow-up for evaluation of the plan of care and reassesses and modifies the plan, as necessary, including initiation of referrals and consultation with other health care providers as appropriate
