Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, and compliance issues.
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License and be able to be added to the Agency’s vehicle insurance policy.
  • Must possess valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or able to obtain one prior to employment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Experience in word processing in a Windows environment; experience with multimedia software preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be knowledgeable of ORR Standards on Preventing, Detecting, and Responding to UC Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment
  • Be knowledgeable of Interim Final Rule 411 Standards to Prevent, Detect, and Respond to Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment Involving Unaccompanied Children
  • Provide support and technical assistance as needed following a PSA incident at the program
  • Provide support to Program leadership with coaching and education
  • Frequent unannounced and after hour visits: Complete and document 1 monthly after hours visit per month
  • Provide training on PSA topics to program staff
  • Provide training at program’s request, or facilitate trainings with new policies
  • Will work with program to implement action plans based on trends of PSA
  • Provides support as needed in UC to UC investigations related to serious incidents of sexual abuse /sexual harassment (follow investigation matrix)
  • Participate in monthly PSAC calls
  • Complete and submit Adult and UAC Incident Review Forms
  • Model Agency’s expectation for sensitivity and competency relating to diversity and cultural awareness
  • Review SA SIR’s and provide technical assistance to the program to include but not limited to: Adhere to timely reporting requirements to ORR, OLR, CPS and Local Law Enforcement
  • Review significant incident reports (SIR’s) for correct category
  • Participation in SA/SIR Review
  • Review and identify trends of weekly/monthly data to include Quality Assurance data
  • Present new internal policies, data etc. to program staff
