About The Position

Noblis MSD is seeking an experienced Provisioning Specialist providing logistics support to our US Navy programs. Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) in their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. Noblis MSD is looking to hire a Provisioning Analyst who is able to: Compile and analyze data through research using Haystack, engineering drawings, andInteractive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) software. Develop the Allowance Parts List, Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), EngineeringData for Provisioning (EDFP), and Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs) for the ILS Manager andrepresentatives from the Technical Support Activity (TSA), the Naval Supply SystemsCommand (NAVSUP), Weapons Systems Support - Mechanicsburg, PA (NAVSUP-WSS-M),formerly the Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, PA, (NAVICP-M). Create and modify through provisioning data elements such as NIINs, NSNs, SMR codes,CAGE codes, Mission Essentiality Codes (MECs), Production Lead Times, Long Lead TimeItems, etc. through Configuration Data Managers Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) for all Hull Mechanical and Engineering (HM&E) systems. Identify the source of material and correct maintenance level authorized to remove andreplace, repair, and dispose of items. Assign and/or create Source, Maintenance, andRecoverability SM&R codes to identify the maintenance concept of the systems orequipment. Analyze, organize, plan and administer various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, ormaintenance/repair activities for one or more basic programs using established procedures. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant logistics experience. Will also consider an Associates degree & 8 years OR a high school diploma and 11 years of relevant logistics experience.
  • Familiarity and prior usage of Navy-specific logistic databases (i.e. Windchill, ICAPs, etc.).
  • Experience compiling and analyzing Naval logistic data, with knowledge of basic inventory terminology and provisioning phases.
  • Experience creating and modifying provisioning data based on hull and/or platform.
  • Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance or higher.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with corrective maintenance data and proper use and interpretation of NIINs, NSNs, SMR codes, CAGE codes, Mission Essentiality Codes (MECs).
  • Experience analyzing, organizing, planning and executing provisioning packages.
  • Adaptibility in high paced provisioning environment, while notating precise provisioningprocedures for applicability across multiple hulls and/or platform.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% to Noblis Offices for training and potential customer meetings.
