Description: Participates at all levels of recruitment of qualified Physicians for specific opportunities as directed by the Director - Physician Recruitment. Extensive cold-calling to establish and maintain ongoing relationships with academic centers, medical schools, and training programs to nurture future recruitment relationships. Maintains database of applicants, both current and future and documents applicant tracking. Implements creative sourcing and networking such as job fairs and professional affiliations. Participates in marketing and advertising opportunities as relating to recruiting and placing ads. Works closely with Physician Liaison for successful on-boarding and integration into the system and community. Monitors Physician relationships as they impact recruiting. Participates in development of system recruitment plan. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or Related Field. Required Master’s degree in business or healthcare administration. Preferred. Work Experience 1 or more years demonstrated Community Relations Experience to include newcomer interface and relationship development 1 or more years’ experience with applicant tracking and electronic database (Raiser's Edge a plus) 1 or more years medically related field 1 or more years of event Planning experience 1 or more years Recruitment Experience to include: marketing, public presentation, screening, selection, placement, orientation, and evaluation 1 or more years’ experience in personnel and/or Guest Services 1 or more years Physician Recruitment experience PowerPoints Essential Functions Documents and submits required information and data in a timely fashion and maintains detailed candidate records. Clearly and accurately documents designated processes, policies, products, service offerings, etc. Ensures that communication is tailored to expected readers / users. Uses correct terminology. Conforms to required style and format. Handles provider recruitment and relations programs at Medical Center in order to retain current employed providers and to attract new providers. Implements the provider recruitment program in an effective and efficient manner. Coordinates and develops the provider recruitment program as specified by the strategic plan. Oversees and coordinates provider recruitment marketing efforts with the Marketing Department and others. Develops and maintains internal and external networks of individuals to assist in the success of the provider recruitment program. Manages contracts with external recruitment organizations as requested. Contributes to the promotion of the hospital in service and professional communities. Maintains established hospital/departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control. Partners and communicates regularly with VPs, directors and hiring managers for intake meetings and to provide the status of hiring efforts. Captures, tracks and manages analytics for provider recruitment efforts to assess progress, opportunities, and ROI Ensures all pre-employment requirements are completed in accordance with deadlines and hospital policies to include onboarding, background/health screenings, etc. Attends conferences, job fairs, and academic events to showcase health system and job opportunities.
