The Prototype Assembler Level 1 will perform mechanical assembly using documented work instructions, adhering to all safety procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment. This role involves operating hand and pneumatic tools, supporting molding operations, packing products, performing basic computer tasks, and assisting with visual and dimensional quality checks. The employee will also support preventative maintenance, help keep work areas organized, and may work across departments. Employees must follow all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental regulations and may occasionally adjust their schedules to meet company needs. Overtime is a regular requirement, typically 10–20 hours per week. The position reports to the Production Supervisor and is an onsite role in Ladysmith, WI, working a 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm).

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (Company will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening)

Responsibilities

• Follow documented work instructions and safety procedures

• Perform physical tasks, including lifting, cleaning, and equipment operation
• Be willing to work required overtime (typically 10–20 hours per week)
