About The Position

The Prototype Assembler 1 will perform mechanical assembly using documented work instructions, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean work environment. This role involves operating hand and pneumatic tools, supporting molding operations, packing products, performing basic computer tasks, and assisting with visual and dimensional quality checks. The employee will also support preventative maintenance, help keep work areas organized, and may work across departments. Employees must adhere to all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental regulations and may occasionally adjust schedules to meet needs. Overtime is a regular requirement, typically 10–20 hours per week. The position reports to the Group Leader and is an onsite role in Ladysmith, WI, specifically a 3rd Shift role (Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00a.m.). Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening).

Responsibilities

  • Follow documented work instructions and safety procedures.
  • Perform mechanical assembly or general manufacturing tasks.
  • Operate basic hand tools, pneumatic tools, and lifting equipment.
  • Perform basic computer skills for completing production or documentation tasks.
  • Willingness to work in any assigned department.
  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting, cleaning, and equipment operation.
  • Willingness to work required overtime (typically 10–20 hours per week).
  • Support molding operations.
  • Pack products.
  • Assist with visual and dimensional quality checks.
  • Support preventative maintenance.
  • Help keep work areas organized.
  • May work across departments.
  • Follow all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental regulations.
  • Occasionally adjust schedules to meet our needs.
