About The Position

KBR is seeking a Protocol Support Subject Matter Expert to provide Headquarters STARCOM with on-site support at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. A strong candidate has experience providing protocol support for a military Commander, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff, and/or Senior Enlisted Member. In this position, you will: Key Responsibilities: Provide protocol support in the planning and execution of events, meetings, visits, conferences, and ceremonies. Guide assigned action officers. Draft event books and review and finalize event scripts. Set up and prepare rooms, video conferences or teleconferences prior to meetings, events, visits, and conferences. Ensure precedential order for proper seat placement. Place flags. Set up water, tea, and coffee Create nametags, seating charts, parking signs, table setting name plates, for meetings and hosted events. Edit and update the weekly Director's meeting slides. Coordinate meeting reservations for conference rooms and make parking and equipment reservations. Monitor email workflow boxes / calendars and provide email responses. Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events.

Requirements

  • An active Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
  • 3 years of experience directly relating to the job responsibilities.
  • Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, Field Command, or equivalent
  • Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Accustomed to professionally working with military senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS degree.
  • Experience with US Space Force missions.
