About The Position

This position involves supervising and facilitating operations within a pet food ingredient/protein conversion facility. Key responsibilities include managing production goals, ensuring quality and safety standards, and fostering employee morale. The supervisor will serve as a crucial communication link between hourly partners and upper management to ensure that all objectives are met and customer requirements are satisfied.

Requirements

  • Knowledge or ability to learn Protein Conversion operations
  • Ability to deal with a diversified workforce
  • Ability to communicate with a varied range of customers, management and partners
  • Some mechanical knowledge about pressure vessels, augers and conveyors
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent work history
  • High School Diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years experience preferred in management/related field
