The Protective Services Attendant (Field & Control Room) is a cross-trained, frontline role within the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation’s in-house safety and security team. This position supports daily protective services operations across the Library’s buildings, exhibitions, trails, and public spaces, while also serving scheduled shifts in the security control room. Officers maintain a visible, visitor-centered presence in public areas and provide centralized monitoring, communication, and coordination through security systems. This role is essential to day-to-day readiness, emergency response, and high-profile events, requiring strong situational awareness, clear communication, and disciplined adherence to protocol. The position reports to the Manager of Protective Services and works under the day-to-day direction of the Lead of Protective Services.
