PROPs (Promoting Recovery from the Onset of Psychosis) is an early intervention program for young people, ages 15 to 25, experiencing a first episode of psychosis. PROPs is a wraparound program that uses the team-based model of Coordinated Specialty Care for first episode psychosis (FEP). In addition to using the Coordinated Specialty Care model, PROPs works closely with other Journey programs, such as the GROW program through its use of Comprehension Community Services (CCS). PROPs operates as a multidisciplinary team to support consumers with everyday life skills and needs, as well as medication management and an array of other services designed to support consumers’ recovery. The PROPs program staff works as a team within the clinic/office setting and may provide one-on-one services to consumers out in the community or in their home. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Journey Mental Health Center upholds a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) that guides our daily operations. We foster a caring community for all individuals to feel a sense of belonging. We prioritize delivering services that are centered around ensuring fairness and inclusivity for all. We are dedicated to demonstrating courage and initiative within our agency and community to actively dismantle structural oppression for all affected communities.
