About The Position
We are a growing property restoration company specializing in water, fire, mold, and reconstruction services. We are seeking a Property Restoration Estimator to join our team on a part-time basis with a clear path to full-time as workload increases. This is an ideal opportunity for an estimator who wants stability, growth, and the chance to be part of a team rebuilding and scaling a strong operation.
Requirements
- Experience with restoration estimating (water, fire, mold, reconstruction)
- Proficiency in Xactimate (required)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple estimates under deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Insurance program and carrier experience preferred
- IICRC certifications a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and compliant estimates using Xactimate (and Symbility when applicable)
- Estimate mitigation and reconstruction jobs for self-pay and insurance claims
- Submit estimates within carrier and program SLAs (typically 24 hours)
- Communicate with project managers, office staff, and adjusters
- Respond to revisions, supplements, and estimate questions
- Ensure proper documentation, photos, and line-item justifications
