About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Property Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and execution of all marketing materials (advertising opportunities, in-house signage/requests, promotions, and events) regarding the Resort/property, as well as the review, research and application distribution of all advertising opportunities. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll play a vital role in shaping how guests experience our property—before they arrive, during their stay, and even after they leave. This position also supports associates by providing clear promotional materials, celebrating team achievements, and ensuring departments have the tools and visibility they need to succeed. This is an hourly wage role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or related field preferred. High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in marketing position and/or advertising agency roles is required with at least 1 year experience in a hotel/resort or a related field preferred.
  • A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
  • Broad understanding of the tourism industry and the day-to-day operations of a hotel/resort are helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, direct, and execute the internal marketing efforts for the property.
  • Develop, participate, and implement various projects, which may include, but are not limited to: filing, booking codes, ordering, generating quotes, laminating and cutting.
  • Support the media and public relations plans that are developed at the corporate level to implement at the property level
  • Consult with and develop tools and resources to help department managers apply the brand identity to their work and goals of their organization
  • Maintain and implement all media/PR plans and overall brand strategy that is established by the Corporate Marketing Department
