About The Position

The Property Manager shall be responsible for the accountable real property records to serve as the basis for real property assets accounting, reporting, planning and developmental study and analysis. Will provide services to support the Garrison in the life cycle process of managing all real property matters including accounting for improvements made to the land, including all related references contained in regulations, policy, or other directives and as specified in the items below.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree .
  • Minimum five (5) years of work-related experience.
  • Possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Experience analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Ability to be punctual and possess patience to work under stressful conditions.
  • Ability and willing to work long hours and weekends during emergency conditions.
  • Ability to obtain an L or Q clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the asset management database provided by the Government. Equipment in this database includes high risk, sensitive, accountable and non-accountable direct operations.
  • This position should be the POC who customers interact with for daily needs such as office supplies, deliveries, conference room reservations and setups, among others.
  • Performs property inventory, tag, and labeling, maintain the inventory database(s), and provide reports.
  • Generate required reports for periodic inventory assessments.
  • Receives, prioritize, input and forward all service orders to the appropriate shop.
  • Records information, such as name, address, item to be repaired, or service to be rendered.
  • Prepares work order and dispatches trouble calls to appropriate personnel within allotted time frame.
  • Dispatchs orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments, using radio/telephone equipment.
  • Maintains logs and records containing service calls, work control and inventory.
  • Sorts and distributes service tickets or material to workers.
  • Performs related and other duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
