Make a difference as a Property Management Assistant. The Property Management Assistant at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board plays a vital role in supporting efficient property management and strengthening services that enhance the quality of life for our residents. This dynamic position provides both clerical and operational support across multiple property offices, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and fostering effective communication between residents, management, and vendors. In this role, you will greet visitors, respond to phone inquiries, collect and process rent payments, and post transactions into Yardi Voyager with accuracy. You'll coordinate tenants' annual and interim recertification appointments, gather necessary documentation, and maintain current, confidential resident records. Additional responsibilities include conducting semi-annual housekeeping inspections to uphold property standards and assisting the Property Manager with resident concerns to ensure respectful and timely resolution. You will also prepare move-in packets, distribute notices, and collaborate with maintenance vendors to support property needs.
