About The Position

You’ll take the lead on managing the property portfolios of two established owners, with the possibility of opportunities to expand and grow with other portfolios. Flexible 40 Hrs/Week Send your resume today!

Requirements

  • Customer Service, bookkeeping, or administrative experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED, some college experience preferred
  • Shows ability to quickly finish very detailed work
  • Shows great interpersonal skills and excellent written communication
  • Technologically savvy; Basic knowledge of Google Suite with the ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and Buildium is a plus
  • Spanish-speaking skills encouraged

Responsibilities

  • Tenant Relations & Leasing
  • Advertise and show rental properties
  • Screen applicants (credit, references, income verification)
  • Prepare and execute lease agreements
  • Handle move-in/move-out inspections
  • Address tenant questions, concerns, and complaints
  • Enforce lease terms
  • Maintenance & Property Care
  • Coordinate repairs and routine maintenance
  • Conduct regular property inspections
  • Maintain vendor relationships (contractors, cleaners, landscapers)
  • Ensure safety and compliance with housing codes
  • Financial Management
  • Collect rent and deposits
  • Track and manage expenses
  • Provide owners with financial reports
  • Create and manage budgets
  • Pay property bills (utilities, HOA fees, contractor invoices)
  • Legal & Compliance
  • Stay current on local, state, and federal rental laws
  • Serve legal notices when necessary
  • Manage evictions in accordance with the law
  • Maintain proper documentation
  • Marketing & Occupancy
  • Price rentals competitively based on market conditions
  • Develop marketing strategies & listing materials
  • Maintain high occupancy rates
  • Lease renewal management
  • Owner communication & strategy updates
  • Coordinating capital improvements
  • Setting long-term property care plans
  • Protect the owner’s investment, maintain the property’s condition, and ensure a positive experience
