About The Position

Brady Sullivan Properties is seeking a dynamic self-starter for a skilled and experienced Property Maintenance Supervisor in our Lawrence, MA area apartment community. The candidate is responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet the company's established standards and any applicable laws. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the residential community meet the company’s established standards for safety, appearance and operation within the budgeted financial goals. Responsibilities include: Managing the inventory of ready apartments to support the community’s marketing and leasing efforts, scheduling contractors or assist in completing the turn process, and inspecting ready apartments for move-in quality. The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for complying with the company’s and the community’s operating and safety policies and procedures and adhering to federal, state and local laws pertaining to the operation of the community. This position ensures that Brady Sullivan Properties complies with all state federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing. In Addition: The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry wall/painting, exterior care of buildings, appliances, common area cleaning, landscaping and HVAC. Description: • Handles service requests for repairs and improvements • Assists with preparing or prepares vacant apartments for market ready conditions • Performs various non-technical functions such as maintaining exterior, snow plowing/clearing, cleaning, ground equipment repair and preventative maintenance, caulking, painting and lock repair. • Responsible for interior/exterior and common area of 100+ unit apartment community. • Cleaning of driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, exterior hallways and any other common areas • Complete other tasks as assigned • On-call emergency maintenance rotation required

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar position
  • Trustworthy (Criminal Background will be checked)
  • Hardworking
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must have own tools
