About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and multi-skilled Property Maintenance Specialist to support the day-to-day upkeep and functionality of DineAmic Hospitality’s corporate office and 10+ restaurant locations throughout Chicagoland. This is a hands-on position that combines general maintenance, remodeling, and coordination with external vendors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, anticipates issues before they arise, and has an eye not only for functionality, but also for maintaining the overall look and feel of our spaces. They are comfortable working across multiple locations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This is a part-time role to start, with the opportunity to grow into full-time position as workload and fit allow.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or property operations (hospitality or multi-unit experience preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of basic building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry
  • Ability to perform basic carpentry, painting, tiling, electrical, and other maintenance tasks independently
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to be eligible for coverage under the company’s auto insurance policy

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. trade certificates) are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day maintenance needs across all locations
  • Perform general repairs and upkeep, including carpentry, painting, tiling, and basic electrical and plumbing tasks
  • Troubleshoot facility issues and respond to maintenance requests through the ticketing system
  • Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify repair needs and prevent issues before they impact operations
  • Maintain high standards for both functionality and aesthetics across all spaces, ensuring venues are guest-ready at all times
  • Coordinate with and oversee third-party vendors for specialized repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.); review completed work and assist with invoice verification as needed
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of equipment and assets; support regular audits
  • Work closely with operations teams and building engineers to resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Manage seasonal setup and breakdown projects, including installing and maintaining outdoor patios, ensuring proper furniture setup and safety compliance
  • Maintain exterior presentation, including watering and caring for plants, planters, and greenery across locations
