The paid training you need to learn, grow, and succeed! Essential Functions: Perform routine maintenance, janitorial duties, and repair of buildings and grounds. Report needs for major repairs. Follow standards regarding safety, licensing, regulatory and agency requirements. Implement and manage preventive maintenance program.Assist in resident apartment or room turnover preparations. Perform on-call service, as scheduled, and respond promptly to emergencies. Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner Document work orders and complete other reporting functions in compliance with LSSI and/or funding source requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent maintenance experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, verbally and written.
  • Good organization and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
  • Background check clearance required.
  • Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency REQUIRED.
  • Access to reliable transportation required.
  • Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage required.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade or technical school training preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years maintenance experience preferred.
  • HUD, OSHA, REAC, and ECT or related training preferred.
