About The Position

Numbers tell a story — and we need a Director who can read the whole playbook. We’re looking for a strategic, detail-loving, spreadsheet-savvy leader to own our financial operations and keep the scoreboard accurate. As our Controller, you’ll oversee accounting operations, guide internal controls, lead audits, and ensure our financial reporting is as polished as our guest experience. You’re the person who sees patterns in the numbers before anyone else does and turns data into direction. If you love balancing precision with leadership — and think “month-end close” is a satisfying phrase — this role is for you.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive experience in revenue audit, cash operations, and financial management required.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple functional areas and leading accounting team members.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations, industry compliance requirements, and banking regulations is essential.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required state regulatory licenses and approvals.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to and enforces all established department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations
  • Responsible for assuring that the various revenue generating departments remain compliant with all regulations, internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Evaluates audit procedures, recommending areas for improvement.
  • Implement new processes derived from changes to internal or external requirements.
  • Identifies and develops measurable goals for the department and team members.
  • Reviews audits for accuracy and compliance and researches exceptions and anomalies, and provide a complaint resolution.
  • Provides internal oversight and ensures that the company is prepared for external audits.
  • Verifies the accuracy of revenue audit files which are used to post daily journal entries by corporate.
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process with established deadlines.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate filing of all Pennsylvania compliance reports (Sales Tax, Occ Tax, Use Tax, etc.)
  • Assists with accounting functions as needed by corporate. Included but not limited to Accounts Payable, Payroll, Budgeting, etc.
  • Oversees document retention.
  • Assist with the cash operation process as necessary.
  • Oversees team member training and development.
  • Review financial activities with corporate leadership.
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
  • May perform additional duties as assigned.
