Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in property acquisition, real estate transactions, or a similar role

  • Must be a self-starter that is reliable, responsive to client needs, professional, and have the ability to maintain long-term relationships with clients and other construction related and business professionals and handle confidential information with discretion and trustworthiness
  • Strong knowledge of real estate markets, property valuation, and acquisition processes
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with real estate databases a plus
  • Learning oriented, creative and possess advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to transfer prior experience to new projects

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential real estate acquisition opportunities through market analysis, networking, and industry resources.
  • Conduct financial analyses and property evaluations to determine feasibility and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Initiate and manage negotiations with property owners, brokers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms.
  • Coordinate and oversee the full due‑diligence process, including inspections, title reviews, and environmental assessments.
  • Prepare and present acquisition proposals, financial models, and strategic recommendations to management.
  • Work closely with legal counsel to ensure all contractual and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of acquisition activities and stay current on market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with development, finance, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition of acquired properties.
