Role Overview Promotions Assistants play a key role in executing live fundraising campaigns, charity events, and public outreach initiatives. Requirements
- Comfortable with face-to-face public engagement
- Outgoing, professional, and passionate about charitable causes
- Available for full-time scheduling and local event travel
- Self-driven, dependable, and team-oriented
- Interested in long-term growth within nonprofit promotions or event management
Nice To Haves
- Experienced in customer service, retail, sales, or events (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
- Assist with organizing and executing fundraising campaigns and community outreach initiatives
- Support event setup, coordination, and operational logistics
- Engage community members to communicate nonprofit missions and encourage involvement
- Record donations, attendance metrics, and campaign engagement data
- Maintain a professional and positive presence at events
- Provide leadership support to volunteers or interns as needed
- Step into event leadership responsibilities when assigned
