The Promising Practice Team Supervisor, under the Manager of Priority Planning Services Bureau, will work as a member of the management team assuming administrative responsibility for the oversight of activities of the Promising Practice Team. Team activities include technical assistance, resource identification, coordinating complex planning, developing new/enhanced service and diversion options for individuals with complex support needs, expanding program capacity. The Promising Practice Team Supervisor will be responsible for the oversight of collaborative activities with other entities such as, but not limited to; Department of Human Services Offices, Community Care Behavioral Health, Office of Development Program, Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team, and START Allegheny. Additional responsibilities and guidelines associated with this job are directly related to upholding the Community of Practice tools and principals of Self-Determination by giving families and individuals accurate and reliable information regarding the Intellectual Disability/Autism system, as well as other service systems and community resources. The Promising Practice Team Supervisor works on a daily basis with the Manager of the Priority Planning Services Bureau and closely with the other Developmental Supports and DHS Management. Local and distant travel as required.
