Project Specialists provide administrative and programmatic support through all stages of the federal and state grant program lifecycle - pre-award review, project implementation, progress monitoring, and award closeout. Project Specialists are responsible for communicating expectations and requirements with project applicants, analyzing proposals and budgets, ensuring compliance with the established program requirements, and providing coordination between Local, State and Federal levels of government and other entities. This is a remote position. Travel requirements vary by program assignment. Some roles involve minimal travel, while others may require up to 50% in‑state travel to visit property sites, meet with applicants, provide program information, and support application completion. While candidates from any U.S. location are welcome to apply, those based in the Southeastern United States (including Florida and Southern Georgia) may be especially well‑aligned with current geographical program needs.
