About The Position

The Finance Business Process Expert role is centered on driving end-to-end efficiency improvements across core finance processes. Primary initiatives include reimagining Accounts Payable operations and optimizing financial close activities, with a potential third initiative related to fixed assets or FP&A support. The role spans discovery, analysis, redesign, and implementation of process improvements within a complex, global manufacturing environment. Lead strategic Finance transformation programs and end-to-end project delivery from definition through execution, adoption and value realization. Partner with executive sponsors and Finance leadership to define scope, success metrics, timelines, resourcing and governance. Apply structured program and project management practices to plan, execute, monitor and de-risk multi-phase initiatives. Proactively identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues; escalate as needed. Lead process initiatives embedded within programs, including defining scope, success measures, and improvement opportunities. Establish and monitor KPIs to track delivery progress, process performance and business impact. Coordinate cross functional teams and vendors to ensure alignment and accountability. Facilitate cross-functional process reviews and improvement efforts to reduce pain points. Drive change management activities, including communication, training, UAT coordination, and operational readiness. Communicate status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP S4 finance transformation, program/project management, or process driven initiatives
  • Strong SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience
  • Proven track record leading large, cross functional programs with measurable results
  • Experience leading initiatives that include process improvement and operational change
  • Strong ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in a matrixed organization
  • Experience with finance platforms and analytics/reporting ecosystems (e.g. ERP Finance, close/reconciliation tooling, BI/data platforms) as relevant to your environment

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred (Green Belt considered with strong leadership experience)
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience with Business Finance systems and reporting/analytics platforms
