About The Position

SCS Engineers (SCS) is looking for an independent, detail-oriented Project Professional Engineer to assist with the workload of diverse, challenging solid waste projects out of our Little Rock, AR office. You will split your time between the office and field. Initially, you will be expected to provide engineering support to our existing solid waste practice consisting of geotechnical analysis, stormwater management and design, construction, operation, and monitoring, for private and municipal clients. You will be exposed to permitting and design (all phases, including construction plans, specifications and construction documents), engineering analysis, feasibility studies, report writing, as well as construction oversight.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering required.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant civil or environmental experience required. Experience in stormwater design preferred.
E.I.T. preferred.
Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.

Air emissions monitoring and reporting
CAD drafting
Surveying
Construction observation and documentation
Environmental and construction materials sample collection
Laboratory data management and review
Preparation of plans and specifications, reports, permit applications, and proposals, as needed.
