About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join our IT Operations & Security team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network infrastructure across our enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Zscaler deployment and administration, as well as strong expertise in Cisco and Meraki networking technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
  • Proven experience with Zscaler deployment, configuration, and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies (CCNA/CCNP preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Meraki dashboard management, wireless deployments, and SD-WAN.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible).
  • Certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), Cisco CCNP, or Meraki CMNA.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud-based networking.
  • Administer and optimize Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and Meraki wireless access points, switches, and SD-WAN appliances.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Implement network security best practices, including segmentation, access control, and threat prevention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity, disaster recovery, and cloud integration initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network efficiency and security.
