About The Position

Techno is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery of a complex infrastructure reconstruction project involving structural rehabilitation, marine construction, and public-space improvements. This role will oversee project execution from construction through closeout, ensuring alignment between client expectations, contractor performance, schedule, and budget.
The Project Manager will play a key leadership role coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting the successful delivery of high-visibility infrastructure improvements along New York City’s waterfront.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience on infrastructure or marine construction projects of similar scope and value
• Experience managing structural rehabilitation or waterfront construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction management processes and contract administration
• Demonstrated leadership managing multidisciplinary project teams

Nice To Haves

• CCM or PE certification preferred but not required
• Previous experience working on projects with NYCEDC or similar public-sector agencies highly advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution, schedule, budget, and deliverables
• Serve as the primary point of contact between client, contractor, and project team
• Coordinate construction management staff including Resident Engineers and inspectors
• Monitor project risks, schedule milestones, and cost controls
• Review contract documents, change orders, and progress payments
• Lead project meetings and stakeholder coordination
• Support procurement, reporting, and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and agency standards
