About The Position

This Project Manager role is located at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) in Nashville, Tennessee, within the HealthIT Customer Care department. VUMC is a global hub for teaching, discovery, and patient care, dedicated to fostering an environment where individuals can thrive and contribute to advancing health and wellness. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating project team activities under occasional guidance, identifying necessary resources, and developing schedules to ensure timely project completion. This involves understanding the system scope, project objectives, and the roles of team members. The role also includes implementing small development projects or components of larger projects and solving medium to complex problems. HealthIT provides essential health information technology tools, either developed in-house or sourced externally, and offers ongoing support to VUMC's 24,000 colleagues, emphasizing accountability, transparency, execution, and strong partnerships.

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree

• Experience in Healthcare or Information Technology (IT)
