About The Position

This Project Manager - BMS role involves leading and overseeing Building Management Systems (BMS) projects within large-scale construction. Key responsibilities include initiating projects with clients and site managers, managing subcontractors, and ensuring strict adherence to project timelines, material orders, and delivery schedules. The role requires proactive resolution of on-site issues, active participation in client meetings, and effective communication with on-site personnel. A significant aspect is driving business growth through sales of maintenance contracts and project extensions, alongside identifying cost optimization opportunities. The Project Manager is responsible for meticulous financial oversight, monitoring cost deviations and overall project expenditures, and ensuring high-quality work. Regular project status updates, timeline definitions, and resource requests are crucial, utilizing tools like Navision and web-based platforms for ongoing coordination with various stakeholders including clients, sales, and site management. The position also entails compiling comprehensive final project documentation and delivering reports to clients. The ideal candidate will have the capacity to manage multiple projects (up to 8) or teams (up to 20 people) simultaneously, and will contribute to performance analysis of maintenance contracts and project delivery feedback. Compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards is mandatory.

Requirements

  • Experience interpreting technical specifications, drawings, and measurement reports.
  • Knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems), automation, and control systems.
  • Strong proficiency in office and design tools (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Presto, Visio).
  • Knowledge of BIM and MS Project.
  • Advanced English level (minimum B2).
  • At least 4–6 years of experience in large-scale construction projects.
  • Experience supporting project sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Kick-off meetings and site layout meetings with the Site Manager and the client.
  • Management of subcontracted companies.
  • Ensuring compliance with project timelines defined by the client, including certification of deadlines based on material orders, project milestones, and delivery schedules.
  • Resolution of on-site issues, participation in client meetings, and communication/reporting of these issues to on-site personnel.
  • Driving sales of maintenance contracts and project extensions, proposing improvements to optimize costs and procedures.
  • Monitoring cost deviations in installations, as well as work quality and overall project costs.
  • Weekly updates on project status, estimated timelines, certification amounts, directly in Navision.
  • Proper definition of estimated timelines and required materials according to each client’s requirements.
  • Requesting products, documentation, and necessary resources based on the project plan defined during the kick-off meeting.
  • Ongoing follow-up using web-based tools, ensuring coordination and communication with clients, sales, pre-sales, and site management.
  • Final project documentation: responsible for compiling all necessary information (data, photos, details) provided by the Site Manager, and delivering the final report to the client.
  • Ability to oversee up to 8 projects or manage up to 20 people simultaneously.
  • Analysis of maintenance contract performance to propose improvements.
  • Analysis of feedback from the sales team regarding project delivery.
  • Compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
