Job Summary: The Engineering Manager – BMS Hardware is responsible for leading the design, development, and production support of Battery Management System (BMS) hardware used across Caterpillar electrified products. This includes cell monitoring electronics, pack controllers, sensing, power distribution, and hardware interfaces supporting low- and high-voltage battery systems. This role provides people leadership, technical direction, and program accountability for BMS hardware teams spanning current production, NPI, and future-generation platforms. The manager ensures BMS hardware solutions are robust, scalable, compliant, and aligned with Caterpillar’s electrification strategy, while enabling close integration with controls, systems, validation, and suppliers.
