About The Position

AlphaHire is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Project Manager to oversee commercial glass and glazing projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is responsible for coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The ideal candidate has experience managing construction or specialty subcontractor projects, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of project management experience in construction or specialty subcontracting.
  • Experience managing commercial projects involving glass, glazing, curtain wall, storefront systems, or similar building systems preferred.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with construction project management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working for a glazing contractor or façade systems provider.
  • Familiarity with curtain wall, storefront, or architectural glass systems.
  • Experience coordinating with general contractors on commercial construction projects.
  • Knowledge of industry tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, or similar project management platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial glass and glazing projects from kickoff through final installation and closeout.
  • Coordinate with estimators, field teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Track project progress and proactively address scheduling, material, or installation issues.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding project status.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure work is completed within budget and timeline expectations.
  • Support field teams by ensuring materials, equipment, and resources are available when needed.
