About The Position

AlphaHire is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Project Manager to oversee commercial glass and glazing projects from contract award through project completion. This role plays a key part in coordinating field teams, vendors, and general contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate brings experience managing construction or specialty subcontractor projects and is comfortable working with drawings, schedules, and installation teams. This role requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 3–8+ years of project management experience in construction or building systems.
  • Experience with glazing, storefront systems, curtain wall, or related construction trades preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience coordinating with subcontractors and construction teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working for a commercial glazing contractor or specialty subcontractor.
  • Familiarity with curtain wall, storefront, and architectural glass installation.
  • Experience using project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
  • Background working on commercial construction projects with general contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial glass and glazing projects from project kickoff through final completion.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, architects, vendors, and field installation teams.
  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project scope to ensure accurate execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  • Track project progress and proactively resolve issues related to materials, scheduling, or installation.
  • Prepare and manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials required for project installation.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding project status.
  • Monitor project financials to ensure projects stay within scope and budget.
