This full-time opportunity is for an experienced Construction Materials Project Manager in the Tempe/Phoenix, AZ office, offering a talented professional the chance to help lead the company.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of construction materials testing and observation experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving history
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Comfortable with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive
  • ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician
  • One ICC Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with performing IBC Special Inspections
  • Experience ranging from small to large complex construction and/or heavy highway projects
  • 4-year Civil Engineering degree
  • EIT or PE level accreditation

Responsibilities

  • Work with project designers and clients to ensure that client specifications are followed.
  • Perform routine - to complex inspections and testing of construction materials in the field.
  • Prepare daily reports on observation activities.
  • Review observation and test data for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with proposal scoping and preparation.
  • Track project budgets and prepare invoicing.
  • Assist with training, supervision, and mentoring of junior staff as needed.
