Project Manager - Surveying

About The Position

POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Project Manager at LJA Surveying, you will be responsible for the daily management of Sr. Project Managers, Project Managers and multiple survey technicians and support staff in the Georgia Survey Department.

Requirements

  • Professional Licensed Surveyor
  • 5-10 years of post-graduate experience
  • Experience with GPS Collection
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to build strong client relationships
  • Proficient in AutoCad or MicroStation or other software packages
  • Ability to build strong relationships

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of field operations and technical staff
  • Deed and map research
  • Survey calculations, analysis and final map checking
  • Update job’s progress to developers, individuals, commercial and/or government
  • Assign and manage projects and workload
  • Determine billing and revenue
  • Maintain client relations
  • Achieve financial objectives
  • Analyze team and group financial performance
  • Initiate corrective actions
  • Report results to management
  • Establish project plan and objectives
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to help them determine timeframes, budgets, staffing, and project schedule
