About The Position

We are currently looking for Surveying Technology - Inside Sales candidate to join our Superior Instrument division, which specializes in supplying land surveyors and contractors with the latest technology, equipment, supplies, and training to keep their job sites running efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing the showroom, managing inventory, answering phone calls and emails, handling day-to-day transfers, and ensuring a seamless customer experience both in-store and online. This position will involve providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product selection, and addressing customer inquiries. Additionally, you will work closely with our sales team to improve operational efficiency and help drive overall customer satisfaction. About Superior Product Distributors, Inc. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience in sales or customer service is preferred, ideally within the construction equipment or a related industry.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on organization and inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, address inquiries with professionalism, and offer expert assistance with product selection to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain an organized showroom, ensuring products are well-stocked, clearly labeled, and easily accessible, creating a welcoming and efficient environment for customers.
  • Process customer orders efficiently, confirm product availability, and provide personalized recommendations to meet customer needs.
  • Respond to phone calls and emails promptly, professionally, and courteously, providing accurate information and resolving customer concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the showroom remains clean, organized, and visually appealing, offering a pleasant atmosphere that enhances customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to manage customer orders, process payments, and assist with daily sales operations to improve overall service delivery.
  • Utilize computer systems, including Microsoft Office, for inventory management, customer communication, and other administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operational flow.
  • Manage, coordinate and oversee the transfer of inventory between locations, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient movement of products to meet customer demands.
