About The Position

The Project Manager for Substation and Transmission Line will function in a project manager capacity. You will own the bottom-line for services projects encompassing HV, MV, LV, underground, and overhead transmission lines. There is also potential to own projects in distribution, private networks, and BESS. Please note: This role has 10% travel to project sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience including high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage substations.
  • Experience in multiple phases of project execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant degree.
  • PE, P.Eng or equivalent professional license.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promotes the safety culture.
  • Responds to RFPs and prepares proposals for services work.
  • Leads project team in conceptual design and procurement phases of substation projects.
  • Manages schedule, budget, and scope of services projects.
  • Interfaces between the client, external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Ability to work in both a corporate and field environment.
  • Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project.
