About The Position

The Project Manager for Substation will function in a project manager capacity. You will own the bottom-line for services projects encompassing HV, MV, LV, underground, and overhead transmission lines. There is also potential to own projects in distribution, private networks, and BESS. Please note: This role has 10% travel to project sites.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

10+ years of relevant industry experience including high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage substations.
Experience in multiple phases of project execution.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant degree.
PE, P.Eng or equivalent professional license.

Responsibilities

Actively promotes the safety culture.
Responds to RFPs and prepares proposals for services work.
Leads project team in conceptual design and procurement phases of substation projects.
Manages schedule, budget, and scope of services projects.
Interfaces between the client, external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
Ability to work in both a corporate and field environment.
Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project.
