Requirements

  • 10-15+ years of experience in physical infrastructure builds
  • Expertise in CAT 6A installations, RF tower construction, and campus communication systems
  • Strong knowledge of NEC compliance and safety standards
  • Ability to manage bids, estimates, and compare vendor proposals
  • Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman electrician license
  • Experience in utility or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with BICSI standards and RCDD certification

Responsibilities

  • Oversee physical layer infrastructure builds, including cabling, fiber optics, racks, and related components
  • Design and manage installation plans ensuring compliance with NEC and National Fire Protection Codes
  • Coordinate with contractors and internal technicians during all construction phases
  • Manage bids, estimates, and material lists for projects ranging from $10K to $5M
  • Represent Technology Services in construction meetings and ensure project timelines are met

Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
