About The Position

A Project Manager Intern supports the Project Manager (PM) in the creation, organization, execution, and completion of specific projects.

Requirements

  • Food and beverage experience preferred
  • Understanding of various project management/process mapping methodologies
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
  • Competency in Microsoft Suite
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
  • Time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Support PM in maintaining and monitoring project plans and project schedules.
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in project meetings
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Determining project changes
  • Providing administrative support as needed
  • Undertaking project tasks as required
  • Support in developing project strategies
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
