Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Informatics & Information Services leadership team in the role of Project Manager-Information Services. This is a Direct Hire and will have some onsite requirements on a hybrid schedule from downtown Indianapolis, IN. Scope: As a CIS Strategic Project Manager focused on supporting Design and Construction and other regional strategic system projects, you will be integral in managing the Clinical IS responsibilities for this large-scale project from inception through completion. Traditional PM responsibilities may vary based on the phase of the project. Your role will involve: Role Flexibility: This role requires flexibility, as it encompasses various responsibilities ranging from supporting clinical analyst and clinical informaticist work as well general project management tasks. Project Execution and Coordination: Manage all project phases for Clinical IS Delivery, including medical equipment and clinical technology integration, ensuring projects meet healthcare-specific requirements. Testing and Validation: Oversee rigorous testing of all systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Training and Support: Ensure the established training plan is being delivered. Project Monitoring: Regularly track project progress, holding meetings to ensure alignment with objectives and project timeline. Problem-Solving: Actively troubleshoot project-related issues, especially those concerning technology and equipment. Project Closeout: Ensure all project elements are finalized, including documentation and resolving any outstanding matters. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with various internal teams and external vendors, maintaining clear and consistent communication. Key Relationships: Reports to : Director of Information Services Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required. 3-5 years of relevant experience required. Requires an understanding of the Information Management principles, IT processes, Project Management Methodologies, architecture and technologies adopted by an organization. Required experience with enterprise PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) tools. Strong working skills with MS Office tools such as MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vizio etc. are preferred. Preferred experience with contractor and vendor management. Requires a demonstrated fundamental understanding of project accounting and financial management. Strongly Preferred: Experience as a Registered Nurse or other clinical role strongly preferred. Clinical Informatics experience strongly preferred. At least 3 years’ experience in project management or relevant experience, preferably in healthcare. Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills. Adaptability to a diverse range of tasks, from technical to managerial. Knowledge of healthcare systems and technology integration. EMR experience in Cerner or Epic.
