From signed contract to accepted delivery, the Project Manager is fully responsible to lead and manage projects that resolve identified business needs within agreed time-schedules, budgets and quality standards.

Requirements

• Master or Bachelors Degree in: Engineering within the area of E&I or Automation or Chemical Engineering within the area of Paper Making or Combustion.
• Five to Ten years of experience in the fields of Pulp & Paper, Power or other heavy Process industry.
• Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a Project lead position in the above-mentioned fields. (I.e Project Lead Engineer.) or One (1) to Two (2) years of experience in a Project Manager position in the above-mentioned fields.
• Knowledge of Automation Control systems in the above-mentioned fields.
• Being able to fluently communicate in English both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Valmet DNA and other Valmet Control systems is a strong advantage.
• Due to our business in Mexico and in the French speaking part of Canada Knowledge in Spanish or French is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide the main interface and maintain a confident relationship with the customer and other participants in the Project.
• Responsible for ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Carry the overall technical and financial responsibility of the project by leading. efficiently and effectively the nominated Project organization.
• Plan and coordinate all activities during project execution, such as engineering, logistics, FAT, customer training, commissioning and Start Up.
• Ensure guarantees are fulfilled as per contract.
• Efficient and clean handing over of Project to our Service organization
