Purpose: This critical role involves leading the establishment and maintenance of global compliance certifications required to maintain and expand the global usage of a connected cloud service, Impella Connect, that allows clinical personnel to remotely view the status of Impella heart pumps. This includes, but is not limited to, demonstrating compliance to ISO27001, C5, SOC2 and others as they emerge in the global landscape. Intersecting the needs of these certifications with the Impella Connect Development and Operations activities for efficient delivery will be key to this role’s success.

Requirements

  • BS/BA
  • 6 years of work experience with 5+ years’ experience leading product related projects in medical device or related high-compliance/regulated industry.
  • Understanding of design controls, risk management, and global regulatory and compliance requirements (FDA, ISO).
  • Exceptional project coordination skills, driving adherence to project deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams, motivating team members and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Office Suite, work tracking tools, etc)

Responsibilities

  • Project coordination: collaboration across functions within the Impella Connect development, operations, and deployment teams as well as across the broader JnJ organization
  • Identify and drive opportunities for synergies across Development and Operations deliverables to meet our compliance targets
  • Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and communication to the broader organization
  • Support and coordination of compliance audit processes
  • Hands on contributions where practical – author or assist in writing or review of process or other project related documentation
  • Adherence to, and improvement of, all relevant standard operating procedures
  • Partner and collaborate with Impella Connect Program Management to deliver across multiple projects in coordination
