About The Position

The Project Manager II leads medium to large cross functional projects with significant customer visibility and operational impact. The role manages all lifecycle phases, scope, schedule, budget tracking, communication and risk/change and execution while working with high autonomy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering
  • 4-7 Industrial Automation experience, 4-7 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience managing small projects or major workstreams
  • Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong financial acumen, including forecasting and variance analysis
  • Ability to manage interdependencies and cross-functional delivery
  • Strong customer and supplier engagement abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Working knowledge of scope, schedule and budget management
  • Ability to identify risks, track changes and resolve issues effectively
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to details
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to understand technical project and product requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in project management (PMI or PMP) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own full project delivery from kickoff through closeout
  • Translate contract requirements into executable plans
  • Manager cross functional coordination; engineering, supply chain, operations
  • Lead risk/issue management and customer facing change control
  • Own cost, margin targets and forecasting
  • Lead customer meetings including design reviews, readiness meetings, FAT/SAT and closeout
  • Drive continuous improvement using lessons learned
  • Track and evaluate project performance
  • Lead coordinated cross-functional response during issues, managing internal and customer escalations to ensure timely, effective resolution.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
